Seven macintosh G4/G5 workstations utilize the latest in software to ensure complete compatibility to your pre-press needs. Our software includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, Freehand, Coreldraw, Microsoft office Mac, Acrobat, Pagemaker and Bar Code Pro. With extensive knowledge of this software, production capabilities include anything from color correction and dot gain compensation of four color process, to the standard operating procedures of our pharmaceutical division. Artwork Systems Artpro/Nexus Edit Work Flow can handle any variable in your press, including specified dot gain curves, dots down to .5% at 200 LPI, automated step and repeat, automated bearer bars and registration marks, flawless trapping, imagesetting or direct to plate.
Platecrafters uses four and seven mil hard dot AGFA® film. We offer a wide variety of proofing methods to best serve your needs including Digital Sherpa® 24 Epson® color proofs with guarunteed file integrity. We also offer cost effective HP Laserjet 4600 and Elite XL black and white proofs.

We encourage the use of pdf files for proofing purposes. Electronic file transfer across our Internet T-1 line results in faster turn around time and lowered shipping costs for you. Our digital graphics department offers outstanding pre-press experience in addition to superior commitment to customer service. Troubleshooting to avoid delays in production is a specialty of our pre-press operators. Our staff has computer prepress experience, experience working with a variety of presses and graphic design backgrounds enabling us to assist you with any of your prepress needs.
